The Chancellor of Valkyria is the head of government of Valkyria. As mandated by the Constitution of Valkyria, the Chancellor is the chief executive of the national government and the executive authority of the Royal Defense Forces.

Once the office was established, the Chancellor was elected by the largest party or coalition in Parliament. However, Referendum 1 (2017) removed the Chancellor from the legislature, stipulating the direct election of the Chancellor to serve a term of six years without being term limited. This was reversed by Referendum 1 (2018) and the office of Chancellor returned to Parliament.
